WikidFranchise Policy
WikidFranchise is a document collection of (1) published articles from reputable sources and (2) private documents (permission from author or recipient is needed).
They are:
• published articles: newspapers, magazines, trade journals (print & online),
• public hearing testimonies,
• judicial and arbitration decisions, and
• private correspondence (letters, emails)
• videos of relevant information
WikidFranchise is not:
• opinion,
• a rant, or
• gossip.
We welcome all submissions that fit these criteria. If you believe you have something that fits within these guidelines, please contribute!
Editorial Policy
We welcome donated documents and recognize that the ownership of the articles remains with the authors or media outlets. We appreciate their generosity in letting us use their property to educate the public
We reserve the right, however, to accept, reject or subsequently remove any material. Please consider any donated document to be a one-way trip: We will not add and then take away for any personal reasons.
Electronic submission of documents in their native format are ideal. Scanned documents (snapshots) cannot be indexed and use up huge amounts of storage space when placed on WikidFranchise. Please inquire prior to sending large scanned files for submission.
Warning
Do not conclude that any person or system is bad or good because of anything that you see (or don't see) here. Our collection is not representative of any behaviour: It is useful only as a teaching aide to see the range of risks that franchisees are experiencing.
Franchising is much too complex to accurately distill into cliches.
