I am always so sorry to read about franchisees who believe everything franchisors tell them. As a franchisee you must first do your due diligence on a franchise model before you even look at the FDD. Then from there you must understand that you can't believe anything a franchisor tells you unless it is in writing. There is also no garuntee when it comes to revenue within your business. I work for a fitness franchise and I can tell you that within this model and the food franchise I worked in before there is ALWAYS a range of revenue produced. So if a franchisor gives you some specific numbers you must understand that these numbers should be represenative of another one of their franchisees' success. Also it should be noted that the numbers provided to franchisees are probably the 'best' case scenario.
